Terms of Service It is mandatory that you review all policies before commission can be accepted.
Fursa Major Studio reserves the right to decline any commission. By commissioning Fursa Major Studio, you have agreed to these terms Fursa Major Studio does NOT accept commissions from individuals under the age of 18! However, individuals 16+ may have a legal guardian or parent contact the studio. Thank you. Payments
Now accepting: Chime, PayPal, Cash app, Venmo, Zelle, and money orders. Payment upfront is favored. However, payment plans are available. This requires a 30% nonrefundable deposit and MONTHLY minimum payments of $300 until balance is paid. Please be financially responsible before commissioning a suit. Late payments may result in the order being moved back in queue. Upon approval, you are required to pay the 30% deposit or full amount due. Commission will not be completed or shipped until full payment is fulfilled. Remember, shipping is not included in full payment statement. Shipping will be paid by client. Quotes A given quote is valid for only 30 days. After 30 days you must request for another quote. Quotes are estimates and are subject to change! Until you obtain a position on the commission queue, the quote may vary due to fluctuating material prices. Fursa Major Studio requires you to provide the following for a quote: A front and back view reference sheet, type of suit (part, partial, full plantigrade or full digitigrade), exact features requested, body size, tail size, paw types, foot paw type and size. Please keep in mind that larger sizes may cost more due to material. Queue Once approved and deposit is met, you will be added to the commission queue. Every order is worked one at a time. It is impossible to skip ahead in the queue. However, it is possible to be bumped down in the queue due to incomplete payments. There are two types of commission queues: fursuit parts and fursuit packages. Fursuit packages includes any package that includes at least one fursuit head. Both queues are worked on together. The parts only queue may move faster than the fursuit package queue. Once a order is on the top of the queue, the client will be notified. Work in progress pictures will begin allowing you to be fully involved with the process. Finish date estimates and deadlines Fursa Major Studio DOES NOT work with deadlines! Although you may request for your order to be completed by a specific date. The is absolutely no guarantee the order will be completed by requested date. Fursa Major Studio reserves the right to decline commission orders for a specific date. Fursa Major Studio reserves the right to miss deadlines. The studio does not rush orders. The studio prides itself by focusing on attention to detail and quality. A rushed order could compromise the studio’s quality and consistency. Fursa Major Studio will NOT ship out incomplete orders. Fursa Major Studio uses materials sourced from USA small businesses. Products and commissions are subject to the wait time of these materials. The studio will notify the client when materials are ordered, shipped and received. Shipping Shipping is NOT included in the overall quote. Shipping is determined after completion of commission. Shipping fees are the client’s responsibility. Fursa Major Studio cannot discount delivery charges. The studio uses USPS, FedEx or UPS delivery services. The price given by the service is the price to send. Fursa Major Studio is not held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged suits and packages. Protection insurance may be purchased at your cost by the parcel service. Shipping is required to be paid by the client. This fee will be paid AFTER completion of your product. Fursa Major Studio can and will ship anywhere the US postal will go! International shipping may be high in cost and may take time to arrive due to customs. Certain countries may have trade embargoes in place with the United States that may result in you paying extra fees. It is YOUR responsibility to pay these fees. It is also YOUR responsibility to research ahead of time for these fees. Fursa Major Studio is NOT responsible or held accountable of these fees. Repairs and Warranty The warranty of Fursa Major Studio suits is ONE year with typical wear and tear. With proper care, suits can last for many years of enjoyment. Fursa Major Studio offers free MINOR repairs during the one-year warranty. Major repairs will be at an additional fee. Please explain with pictures or video and a fully detailed explanation of damage for a quote on repair. After the ONE-year warranty expires, any repair will be charged a fee. Fursa Major Studio reserves the right to decline repairs if: -The studio is extremely busy. Fursa Major Studio will notify you with availability to repair, or direct you to an affiliate to repair. -Item is unfixable. -Item is believed to been purposely damaged. -Item has been worked on by another maker(s). Before sending a suit/item for repair, please ensure it has been properly washed and fully dried. Failure to do so may result in repair being turned away. Cancellations The initial 30% down payment is NON-refundable. You cannot have down payment refunded if a cancellation occurs as the studio purchases the materials needed ASAP after deposit is accepted. Materials purchased CANNOT and will not be returned. The amount of work completed on the order can also affect percentage of refund. Orders that have been mostly paid off and is over 75% completed cannot be refunded or cancelled. Fursa Major Studio has 1 year after last payment received to refund client- this may come in parts. Fursa Major Studio reserves the right to cancel an order for any reason seen fit for cancellation. This is a very rare occurrence. Reasons can include the following: stolen character designs, medical emergencies, and harassment. If the studio feels as if it is harassed, you will be given a warning. Continuation of said harassment will result in immediate cancellation. Examples of harassment includes (but not limited to): Repeat requests for rushing orders or asking to “hurry”, sexual advancements, quid pro qo, requesting discounts, messaging the maker on personal accounts about order, etc. Changes in design Design changes to markings can be made at any time BEFORE head is furred or order begins progress. Design changes may result in additional costs. Changes such as color change, will have a larger fee or may be impossible to complete. Please be absolutely certain of your character design before inquiring for a quote! Sizing, Alterations and DTDs Fursa Major Studio requires a DTD (duct tape dummy) for body suit orders! The studio will NOT build a body from only measurements! Please research tutorials for DTDs. Fursa Major Studio requires DTD be made after commission is ACCEPTED. Due to weight loss or weight gain, please make your DTD when it is needed so the suit fits your current body. These are designed to fit your body. Some alterations can be made but it cannot be made larger and sometimes due to complex patterns, it cannot be made smaller. Fursa Major Studio reserves the right to refuse alterations. Please use a disposable full body painter overall as a base for your DTD, these can be found in most DIY stores. DTDs are not to be made tight while you are inside it. Do not restrict the ability to breathe and do not restrict blood flow. If this problem occurs, please cut open and retape to a more comfortable fit. DTDs should go all the way to your ankles, wrists and neck comfortably. Please mark your elbows and kneecaps with a circle before removing DTD from body. PLEASE make sure the sides are marked before it is safely cut off. The DTD is to be taped back up by the client carefully and neat. Before DTD is sent to Fursa Major Studio, please do the following: -write your name and character name on the chest. -Mark the front and the back. -Mark preference for zipper(s). -mark with an X where you would like your tail. -Mark kneecaps and elbows with a circle. -Fold DTD neatly and place fully into a plastic bag. -Secure inside a box and ship. Accountability A brief research is usually conducted on commissioned individuals. There is not a full investigation conducted and some information may not be found at time of commission. Fursa Major reserves the right to deny and cancel a commission at any time. (Please see cancellation details in ToS) Once product is received by the customer, Fursa Major Studio is not accountable for any action customer misconducts. Product received by customer becomes the customer’s property. Fursa Major Studio will not be held accountable for customer misconduct once product is in paid client’s possession.
